Río Azul Rafting: El Bolsón - Adventure Tours

Trip description

Price: ARS 30,000.00.

This is a super fun half-day trip on the spectacular turquoise class II waters of the Azul River in El Bolsón. The rafting section is about 6km long and your time on the water is between 1 and 2 hours depending on water levels.

The scenery on this excursion is beautiful and depending on rivers levels, about half-way through the trip you have the option to hop in the water for some swimming and snorkelling. The water is extremely clear and there are deep sections in the river where you can see to the bottom and maybe even see some trout swim by!

Departures daily at 2pm. Minimum age 5 years old. Reservations required.

Logistics

The trip begins at camping Hue Nain and finishes at Camping Los Alerces. The cost listed does not include transport. Personal vehicles are parked at Camping Hue Nain and at the end of the trip the driver is then taken back to pick up their vehicle. Transport can be arranged at an additional cost, please inquire!
Notes:
Please bring your swimsuit or other synthetic layers to wear under your wetsuit, shoes for walking and also shoes that can get wet while rafting.

Bike and Paddle Patagonia is by far the finest adventure travel company I have ever used. The owners, Julian and Katie Tisato, customized an EPIC three week expedition for our foursome. We traveled by truck from Bariloche south through Patagonia in both Argentina and Chile ending in El Calafate. Every day was an adventure with highlights that included six days of whitewater on the Futaleufu River, more whitewater on the Manso and Rio Azul Rivers, sea kayaking, extreme hiking, sightseeing, delicious meals, amazing lodging and, most importantly, loads of laughter. Our stay at La Confluencia was magical and the drive to get there will remain as one of my highlights of the trip. Thank goodness for the Toyota Hilux and Julian's expert driving skills!
