Price: USD 2,400.00.

A family friendly tour that offers the perfect combination of adventure and cultural experience suitable for the whole family.

On day 1 you will be picked up in Bariloche to begin a scenic drive south to the town of El Bolson. You'll have some free time to explore the town and the evening to prepare your packs for your adventure.  In the morning we board our first boat to cross the lake before a taking a short trek up to the quaintest Argentinian border crossing you've ever seen. This border is accessible only by foot, boat or horse! 

In the late afternoon,we will arrive at our riverside accommodation for the next few nights. Settle in and savor a well-deserved dinner prepared by the local staff, featuring locally sourced ingredients. Here you can enjoy time swimming in the chilly water of the Rio Puelo or enjoy a cold drink on the riverside deck. As night falls, marvel at the star-filled sky far away from city lights.

The next day you will explore a crystalline patagonian lake by sea-kayak or Stand-up Paddleboard..  Spend the afternoon swimming, fishing and enjoying a traditional "asado" barbecue lakeside.

The next day includes a full day of trekking further into the valley. There is no rush on this trek, with plenty of time to rest when needed. We will pass through local settlements but we aren't likely to meet very many people along the way!  Tonight is spent at a secluded Mountain House in the Ventiquero Valley. 

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast we will return to the water, this time paddling packrafts along the Ventisquero and Puelo rivers, stopping for a picnic lunch and continuing all the way back to the hostel.

After these amazing nights in Chile we begin our journey back to Argentina via the 3 lakes route. This trip is another combination of short treks, boat rides and quaint border crossings.  We will stop for an amazing lunch at an off-grid homestead  before continuing on to the boat that takes us across Lago Puelo and back into Argentina. 

The next morning after breakfast you'll be dropped off once again in Bariloche.  You may choose to book your connecting flights for this day or extend your stay and explore everything that Bariloche has to offer.

Bike and Paddle Patagonia is by far the finest adventure travel company I have ever used. The owners, Julian and Katie Tisato, customized an EPIC three week expedition for our foursome. We traveled by truck from Bariloche south through Patagonia in both Argentina and Chile ending in El Calafate. Every day was an adventure with highlights that included six days of whitewater on the Futaleufu River, more whitewater on the Manso and Rio Azul Rivers, sea kayaking, extreme hiking, sightseeing, delicious meals, amazing lodging and, most importantly, loads of laughter.
